Colnago V4RS - Built to Win
Available to order, some sizes available in store. Please contact us for delivery options.
This bicycle has been engineered and built todo just one thing: win. The Colnago V4Rs is theresults of years of research and tests in theWorld Tour. Improved stiffness, better aerodynamics, weight decrease.
A winning bicycle must be stiff, light, aerodynamic, comfortable and robust. TheV4Rs is today's best bike by mix of all thesecharacteristics. Only one objective: to win.
Stiff and responsive where you need it
The V4Rs has peculiar carbon laminations, designed and tested with particular attention to the areas of the frame most subject to tension. Pedalling power is transmitted to the frame immediately and effectively, more than any other bike in the World Tour.
Unparalleled ridebilty and precision
The lightened and revised fork makes the bike much more rideable downhill, in groups and on technical courses.
Narrower front area
The front area of the bike has been optimised with lines that follow and facilitate airflow. The V4Rs is the bike you want to be on when you are alone, in a breakaway, on your way to victory.
Wheels up to 32 mm
The bicycle is evolving: more space for tyres allows us to meet the needs of all cyclists and to be compatible with the largest number of wheels and tyres on the market.
Ceramic Speed SLT headset
The headset bearings are treated with Ceramic Speed's SLT technology, which virtually cuts out the need for any maintenance during the life of the product
Easier bike fitting
The increase in reach and stack between the different geometries is linear: This allows for an easier bike fitting to enable the rider to find the perfect riding position.
What is the difference between C68 Road and V4Rs?
Although both models are top-of-the-range carbon racing bikes with very similar geometries, there are big differences. The construction technique of the V4Rs frame is monocoque; the C68 is a modular frame composed of several interlocking parts. The philosophy is also radically different: the V4Rs is a bike designed and optimised for use by professional racers. More rigid and lighter, it suits highly powerful racers with extremely flexible muscles and joints. The C68, on the other hand, is designed for maximum riding pleasure: a snappy and responsive bike that calls for speed, with the perfect balance that a racing bike should have between enjoyment and performance.
How do you measure the size of the V4Rs and how does it differ from other manufacturers?
The size of the V4Rs, like every Colnago, is measured in cm and represents the length of the seat tube. The size is also indicated on the serial number, located under the water bottle between the two rivets. Colnago sizing does not follow the same logic as other manufacturers. We advise you to reach out for any sizing questions and discuss your specific fit.
